Today wasn't bad for it to be the first day... I would have loved to have fit two more meals in there but today wasn't a great day for eating right since it was me and Nicole's one year anniversary... and surprise, surprise, I'm out of shape as fuck! I was doing cardio for two minutes before my quads starting BURNING (something that NEVER happens) I fought through it for another 10 minutes before I started talking myself out of it... I usually can talk myself through quitting but today it just wasn't working for me... after only fourteen, pitiful minutes, I quit, walked back to the locker room and told myself I'd do better tomorrow. I didn't drink enough water or stretch but hey, it's the first day. As with most people, it's a slow start in a long race. But it's a START and that's what matters the most. Day one down, forever left to go.
